Retrieve Office Procedures

Radio Frequencies:

Retrieve office will monitor both 122.9 and 123.3

Pilot to crew - 123.3

Information for Crews:

123.3 will be the frequency for radio communications between pilots and crews. Crews are not permitted to initiate calls to their pilots.

Before leaving the field for any reason, crews must check out with the retrieve office (in the airport office building).

When the pilot and crew are together, they should inform the retrieve office as soon as possible.

Upon returning to the airfield, crews must report in to the retrieve office.

The retrieve office will close at 7:30pm unless notified by a crew that they have not located their pilot. In this case, the office will remain open until pilot and crew are together.

Pilot Information:

Upon landing out, complete your landing card, including landing coordinates. HAVE THIS DONE before you call!

Report your landing to the retrieve office. Repeat the landing location and coordinates. Please give the phone number where you can be reached.

Be sure to call the retrieve office as soon as the pilot and crew are together.

When you return to the airfield, turn in your landing card and flight recorder information to the scoring office if it is still open. If not, please turn it in by 9am the following morning.

Pilots who do not fly the course and land back at Moriarty must turn in a landing card immediately.

If you call your crew directly, please make sure they provide the required information to the retrieve office before leaving the field.
