Turnpoints and Landout Info

The contest turnpoint files are at:

Region 9 and Cross-Country, 2026

Note that his file contains known landables as well as turnpoints. These are important, because this area is generally not landout-friendly. There are relatively few cultivated fields, mostly it's pasture - land that's never been leveled or much cleared, and may contain old fence posts, collapsed outbuildings, etc. Along with the turnpoint files, there is an excellent interactive map at:

Google Map of the Control Points and Landout Sites

Clicking on any of the points will bring up supplemental information. This may include hazards, elevations, gate codes, etc. Carol Ann Garatt is one of the principal organizers of the Women's XC Camp; she and her staff of elves spend a great deal of time inspecting sites from the air and ground, taking notes and photos for this resource. It just might save you from an expensive surprise.
